Citizens Overseas

Many Singaporean are overseas - studying, working or in-between. I think the Internet and E-mail have been a boon to them in communicating with their families. While the Government has decided to fund a non-Government non-profit organisation - the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) to remind Singaporeans of their roots (and it is a good thing), Singaporeans overseas are also attempting to do the same. We understand that there are over 70 Singapore Clubs around the world; and not counting the cyber clubs started by Singaporeans in their universities or colleges or workplace.
We have tried to scour the Web (in our own limited and parochial way) to bring you some of these links so that Singaporeans overseas may subscribe to them or make contacts with your fellow citizens, either through the official channel or the unofficial channel. If you do have the URL of those not listed here, please inform us. Whatever your do, always remember - the mee rebus, chicken rice and the roti parta can only be savoured in their glory back in good old Singapore! Have fun, make your pile but visit often!

Sites of Singaporean Abroad
  • Sintercom - the internet community of Singaporean abroad and at home
  • Singapore Clubs - there are 76 of them in 65 cities. Anyone has their URLs??
Local Homes

Unless you know someone in Singapore and have been invited into their homes, we thought that the next best thing would be to feature the personal websites of Singaporeans so that you may wish to visit and correspond with them.

Well, we have done some work on your behalf and collated a number of personal web pages for you to look at. They are :
